Pressure gauges – panel mounting brackets

Panel mounting brackets

Panel mounting brackets are used to mount pressure gauges into instrumentation panels; the brackets can either be back flanged or front flanged.

Front flanged panel mounting bracket

The front flanged panel mounting bracket is used for installing pressure gauges with back connections. The mounting bracket is installed by sliding the bracket, flared end facing forward, over the back of the gauge up to the bezel, the gauge is then seated and secured in a pre-cut hole in the instrumentation panel with (3) screws.

Back flanged panel mounting bracket

The back flanged panel mounting bracket is used for installing pressure gauges with bottom connections. The mounting bracket is installed by sliding the bracket, flared end facing forward with the cut out aligned to the bottom connection, over the back of the gauge, the gauge Is then seated and secured in a pre-cut hole in the instrumentation panel with (3) screws.  The main difference between the front and the back flanged bracket is the back flanged bracket has a section of the flange cut away and this cut away is aligned with the bottom connection of the pressure gauge for ease of access when connecting.
