The "New Ahmadi Mall" is part of the Ahmadi Gate project, a large retail and entertainment complex currently under development in Kuwait's Southern Governorate, scheduled to become operational in phases. The develpment is set to be the largest mixed-use attraction in the south of Kuwait, with an estimated cost of half a billion US Dollars. The 150,000 sq. meter project will include retail, dining and leisure floors, and will design incorporate features such as an open middle garden courtyard and advanced climate-control technology to be usable year-round.
