Timer Calibrations

Timers are required everywhere in everyday life. That is why we wear watches and have clocks and have timers in our phones. However, in commercial or industry electronic timers are most commonly used and can be crucial to operations. For example, in the motor industry, timers are used to measure the time it takes for a car to go from 0-60 mph. In the food manufacturing industry, operators could set a timer in which a machine is to produce X amount of a product, e.g Cadbury produce 250,000 Dairy Milk Buttons per minute.

Timers measure time intervals counting upward or downward from a set point. As they sustain repeated use or age with service life, timers can become less accurate and can require calibration. Here at Brannan, we do not provide on-site timer calibrations; however, we can accommodate both UKAS and Traceable to National Standards calibrations on request via a third party laboratory.
